I broke my original remote. This one is exactly the same as my original. Put new batteries in the new one and it worked instantly without programming it. I love it..

1st box was original packaging but the box was crushed but had all contents in plastic and hardware was there. the 2nd was in a plain brown box with a small label with description. the plastic was in the bottom, all the wire nuts were scattered at the bottom and no walla anchors or screws were present. and the remote wasnt in plastic and had used batterise installed in the remote already no screws or anchors, the remote had used batteries im it already.i recieved a return and a crushed new one but i paid for a new one. this is going into my kids room and i wont put anything but new in a ceiling fan thats for my toddlers.i have requested a replacemnt for both and i will change this rating as long as im satisfied and they are NEW ITEMS not used or returned or damaged.

Works but not intuitive to use, also no reverse function, which would be very usefulDisplay doesn’t stay on. I am using it to replace a similar control which became intermittent after several years use. Wished I had purchased that one
