This is a clever device and well worth the money I was pleasantly surprised to discover the batteries were included. This is the perfect opener for me. My hands and arms are not as strong as they once were and I have osteoarthritis in my fingers. The other jar openers require some effort. Not this one!!! Just place the opener over the lid and press the button. It does the rest. Love it!

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery. The twisting motion with my hand hurt for a while after surgery. I bought this product to open jars that I would never have been able to open! So easy to use. Just follow the directions that come with the product. Even when my hand is totally healed I will absolutely use this for those really tough jars that seem sealed shut. I liked this so much, I bought one for my mom who has arthritis in her hands and she also loves it!
