Works well for my projects. Got this file to smooth the edges of iron-on wood veneer. After trimming I file the edges to blend into the sides of plywood. Very fine and smooth cuts. I recommend this item.

I used this to clean the edges of approximately 200 linear feet of birch veneer edge banding and it worked beautifully. Search youtube for "Pro Tips for Fast and Efficient Edgebanding" to see how to use this file to trim wood veneer.

I've seen a decline in the sharpness of files in the last few years, (yes from major US makers) but this meets my expectations. I use it to clean up 3D printed parts, works great.

I was a bit skeptical that a “laminate†file was any different from other files. This particular file was quite sharp with deeper grooves and possibly farther spaced than what I’ve seen on “normal†files. This item worked very well on cleaning up edges on laminate. With two light passes it took off the burr created by the router and left a nice edge.

As a woodworker, I'm often edge banding plywood. I've tried all of the commercial edge band trimmers, but none of them work like this file. It cuts clean and fast and there is absolutely no tear out. Worth every penny of the investment!
