I put 4 stars because I don't yet know if this is a poor quality string, or if I am the one who is forcing it too much. Because I'm a begginer I can stablish just yet if I'm the one forcing it, but, I will say that 3 strings already broke on me.

I love this! It was simple to install because it has everything I need to do the job right. The fact that I have the replacement strings on hand when I need to change this first set is a definite bonus. Most importantly, it sounds AWESOME! I really love this package deal and I would most heafrtily recommend this for anyone who plays the mandolin!

First two strings broke as soon as tension was applied. They both broke where the bridge hook connects. Just came unwound. Lucky I ordered three sets. Now I have two incomplete sets.I knew better than to buy these cheap strings. My local music store was out so I ordered these. Bad decision.

The two stars are for the strings and picks and the other 3 stars were lost after the string winder broke after only changing three strings.

ça prend les 3 ensembles pour réussir à faire une mandoline, les cordes se casse avant d'atteindre la note requise, j'ai plusieurs mandoline et jamais connu autant de problèmes à compléter le montage et ne reste pas accordé.....un remboursement s'impose....ATTENTION NE PAS ACHETER

Good quality strings. Capo is a bit odd for the mandolin neck. Stringing tool is very useful

OK for the money but forget about the tools and put your dollars toward good strings to start with.
