After having a dog die from cancer and seeing reports on the media that radon in homes might be a contributing factor, I decided to get a detector to see if it was a problem in my home. This detector is small but is clear to read, and can be installed anywhere. The screen shows you any current levels detected, and the alarm lets you know if you have dangerous levels. It is a cheap way to insure the safety of your human and furry family members!

This works great. I have it set up in my basement and consistently check the readings.

These are very inaccurate meters - I do not recommend them at all. I bought two of these and noticed after calibration that they showed much lower than the existing sensors in my house. I reset both of them and got the same results. I have two Radon Eye detectors and an Air Things plus - which consistently have indicated levels right at the limits, and decided to try two of these. The levels shown have consistently been half or less of the above mentioned systems. I then decided to purchase a Safety Siren Pro 4…and sure enough - the levels were essentially the same as shown by the Radon Eye and Air Things sensors. These are junk - and while cheaper than reputable systems they are still expensive. Even worse, it’s clear they will not provide accurate measurements and under-report levers that over time may cost you your health and life.

I bought this to monitor my basement prior to and after a basement remodel. I got an initial reading after 24 hours and have gotten readings since. The monitor is easy to set up and easy to read.My only thing is that I do not have anything to compare it to so I do not know how accurate the monitor is or how accurate it stays over time.It is definitely better than nothing and I think is a good buy overall.

This functioned exactly what it was expected to. After multiple tests, I would say it was accurate and easy to use. It's battery lasted and I think it was worth the money for the peace of mind.

We placed it in the area we wanted to make sure that we didn’t have any issues since we live in the basement.

It has just been about 36 hours since setup. I have not had any readings. The display flashes continuously.I am not getting any numbers on the face of the unit. I have already done two separate testings with purchased kits. Not sure what the problem is.

saved me $1500.00 . I was told to purchase this 1st before installing radon correction unit. I had sent off the radon testing , purchased at Lowes. The readings came back at 4.5 to 5.0 they had a list of installers with the test results. I sometimes wonder that the installers and the testing unit are working together. I have this tester reading for 3 weeks and it is showing 2.6 at one location and 1.9 at another . both in my basement. Glad I made the purchased
