I gave this a 5 star rating so more people will see my review. Otherwise it would have been a 1 star. I have a very large office chair and it sinks into the plastic mat. My chair definitely not not slide on it. It is a carpet protector at best. Wish I had spent more to get glass and may do so soon.

Overall this is a pretty good mat. It’s a tossup between 4 and 5 stars. On one had it is really nice looking, and was easy to roll out. On the other hand it’s really thin and flexible so i feel that it limits the protection of my LVP flooring in the basement.The mat is pretty soft making it very easy to roll out. Since it soft the chair wheels don’t slide as easily like when they are directly on the hard flooring. I noticed the chair wheels were cracking the joints on the LVP a bit so i wanted to get a mat. I wish this mat was stiffer so that it would be more supportive when the chair wheel is on the edge or crack of the LVP.If you have hardwood flooring i think this mat would be a perfect choice because the wood is stronger and this definitely would help with any kind of scratching you would get on hardwood. With my floor I wasn’t worried so much about scratches, i was just trying to spread out the pressure of the little tiny wheel on my chair.

These are very thin and do not work well on carpet that has a pad. You have to soak them in hot water in the bath tub to get them to unfold. Once they are flat they do not hold the weight of the chair and the wheels sink. This does not allow you to roll your chair. I am not over weight and have a regular office chair. I would not buy these again.

Changed my floor from carpet to lvp and didnt want to damage it. Got this and it was rolled in a tube on arrival. Laid it out in a minute and it remained flate. The back side is slightly sticky to grab the floor. Translucent see through so can still see floor. Chair rolls just fine on it and floor still looks fine with no nicks.

My husband has been in desperate need of a mat in his office for YEARS now.. finally, I made the plunge and purchased this in preparation for our eventual move to what will become our forever home. I wanted to ensure the protection of the hardwood floors and this will be a huge help! Perfect sizing for his work desk region of his office, and incredibly easy to clean around. I wish I would have found this sooner!

Despite some concerns with the product, i recommend this seller. Excellent customer service and genuine in their desire to improve!**Received this yesterday. We let it come up to room temp over night to unroll. It flattened out pretty quickly. Looks like a nice thick plastic - doesnt move on the carpet. But after sitting in my chair for about 10 min there are big indents in it. I guess time will tell if the plastic will hold up and whether it will crack or not...

This MESHDO office chair mat arrives in a tight roll but once laid out flat and slightly weighted down, it soon flattens and remains flat from that point on. There should be no issues with setting this up and putting it to use almost immediately.This MESHDO chair mat is slightly different from other similar plastic mats I have used in the past. Both slightly thinner and without 'studs' on the floor side, this mat still sits firmly in place protecting the floor underneath while allowing free movement of the chair itself, if you are using it for this purpose. If you are planning to use the mat as a surface protector in a play area, the lack of studs on one side is in fact a bonus as it makes the mat more useful.While protecting the flooring from the effects of the chair's wheels, the surface of the mat allows free movement of the chair itself. Of course, you're not going too far on the small surface, but it's easy going while it lasts.This mat is part of the MESHDO range of chair mats, and the only difference I can see between the items is size. This variant is slightly bigger than other similar models, but otherwise is identical, and all reviews of those items are worthwhile if additional information is required.All in all, there is nothing special in this mat, but it gets the job done.
