I do a lot of 3D printing and miniature modeling, so I'm using these on plastic and they work great. I've had them about a month or so and none of them has broken or anything.The though sleeve you keep them in was sticky when it arrived so that was a bit gross. I had to wash it off.My husband who has big hands fumbles with them a bit because they are very small, but they work great for me.The rubber on the handles does seem a bit flimsy, but when they fall off I'll just spray them with plasti dip.This is a "you get what you pay for" situation.If you want amazing tools with super comfortable grips, then you'll want to buy a significantly more expensive product.If you're just a hobbyist who doesn't need their files to cut through steel or anything crazy, then buy these.I like them, and for the price, I'll buy them again if they break.

They are exactly as advertised -- very tiny files for doing intricate delicate work. Look at the size listed and convert it to inches: they are approximately 4" long (2" handle and 2" file part). I don't expect them to hold up under heavy work, but instead for cleaning out the tiny screws in camera's, clocks, the grooves in jewelry, polishing, cleaning out contacts on electronics, etc. Used correctly and I expect them to last a long time. However, I also expect that the tips of the pointed ones will break off easily if mishandled. Fortunately, the cost makes them almost disposable. The coating they put on the handle makes them feel good in my hand. They are exactly what I needed. The case makes a nice way to store them since their size would make them easy to misplace.

Well, This is a fairly good value. The shapes and sizes are quite useful. I use these for metal work, sharpening tiny cutters, or deburring and shaping of small parts. The precision of these files is not good enough for finely shaping precision cutting edges on instruments. The quality will be adequate for stone setting, and shaping of parts. The plasti-dip file tangs are not large enough to hold properly creating inaccurate results.- The diamonds are not sintered very well, and if you push too hard you will break them off.CONCLUSION:I find the quality is quite fair for the price, but you definitely need to scrape off the plasti-dip and use these files with the correct handles for accurate results. These are sintered files and the diamonds are prone to coming off. But, for most people, the price is still good considering these are diamond files.TIPS:- I strongly suggest file handles that have some flat sides to help in aligning the cutting faces to the work. Mark the handles with markers if necessary to assist in maintaining a level cutting profile.- Some slight diamond breakage is normal when you first use them, as with new sandpaper. Be gentle and use even smooth strokes.

I use these for delicate sanding of plastic scale models. This item is exactly as advertised, and given the low price, these files certainly meet my expectations. They are not heavy-duty, but are excellent for light precise work. Since these are small 150 grit files, debris can quickly build up on the surface. I just clean them with compressed air and they seem like new again. They come with a plastic storage pouch that has small pockets to hold each file. I recommend these for light detailed sanding. I would purchase larger files if you need to do a moderate amount of sanding.

I'm a little torn on how to rate these. I work with metals, copper and silver, to create jewelry. Small files are a must. As long as I am working on very small areas, they seem to do fine. Jump rings, tiny little burrs, finishing drill holes...they work good on those tasks. Good, not great.. But I have noticed the files seem to be wearing down fast. After 3 uses, one of my round files already has 'dead' spots on it. I have never used this type of file before, so maybe it's just the nature of the beast. I will continue using the set, but will also continue to look for an alternative to my small filing jobs.

Nice little set. I got these for shaping guitar nuts and saddles. I tried them out on an Ibanez bridge that needed a little smoothing and I was impressed with the amount of bite they had. Go slow until you get the hang of them. They should last for a long time.

Las limas tienen una buena calidad, son buenas limas, sin embargo no son lo que esperaba ya que la descripción del producto indica que el largo total de las limas es de 8.3 cm y en realidad miden 10 cm, lo cual es un gran inconveniente ya que requerimos mini limas para trabajos de piezas muy muy pequeñas, y aunque 1.7 cm no pareciera ser significativo, en nuestro trabajo es una gran diferencia. Ya he trabajado con limas de 8.3 cm y el area del diamante es más estrecha, lo cual permite un lijado más fino en pequeños espacios.Fue muy decepcionante abrir el paquete y darnos cuenta que las limas son más grandes de lo que esperábamos.
