I have done autobody work for 20 plus years and wish I had these a long time ago. Some reviews said that the teeth were going to snap off or completely fail one way or another but for the price I figured why not. Drill a small pilot hole ( doesn't need to be completely through the material) align the center pin of the cutter with it and SLOWLY let the bit start its path. Let the tool do the work, you won't need to lay on top of the drill to push it through. With light pressure and low speed these things just bore right through and make a clean hole. I drilled roughly 25 welds with no broken teeth and no sign of dulling of the cutter.

It cuts well, but I needed to mount it on an extender and the shaft was bigger than the standard .25". It also does not fit in a magnetic adapter for a hex quick connect.It should also come with more points.I should mention, the manufacturer was very helpful.

Works amazing! I center punch the weld then drill a small hole, but not all the way through, to keep it on track and go at it. What took me like 40 min with a finger sander on the other side took 5 min with these mini holesaws on this side. Since it is a cheaper product it does have a kinda weird wobble haha but works great other than that. Can't complain for 16 bucks at all

This item is a great value but is threaded too far down for the blades to work over time. A simple addition of a washer solves the problem.

A small pilot hole to guide the center pin is required but standard drill bits will do this. One cutting head removed a complete center pillar outer skin on a 4 door Civic. Works as advertised.
