sturdy but hard to unroll that first time and get flat. Last one went only 3 years before material became brittle and cracked.

Worked well on our medium pile carpet. Easy to get flat. I used a hair dryer and weight. No issues.

This thing comes rolled up in a 6" x 6" x 40" box. The instructions say to unroll it and put weights at the edges until it becomes flat. This isn't going to happen. Put the darn thing in the bathtub and run hot water until it is submerged. Let it sit there for 10-15 minutes, then unroll it on a rug. Let it dry, and good to go. Why the office supply stores sell them flat.

First, not worth the money, and not made for carpet use. This slides all over the place, does not stay where its placed. It slides up against the desk and edges curl up. it layer flat, but because it bumps.up to the desk it curls constantly. Then my chair wheels make pivots in the plastic, so hard to roll around. Don't waste your money. I would return if I could. You g to purchase something of better quality. I had a previous one that lasted me 10 years, that never did this, try another product.

Comes rolled up quite tightly and give yourself a day or two to unroll it. I unrolled it on the floor and put weights on it all around the edges for 2 days. It now lays flatI think the thickness is shown is deceptive as it says 5mm. I thought okay, that is like my last mat which was ¼" but the measurement here includes the points on the back to anchor it to the carpet. So really it is about 2.5mm thick. Too thin for sitting on the chair on low pile carpet. It dimples immediately upon use and I only weigh 72kg. Annoying when you try to move around and the chair is stuck in dimples.Definitely not what I was expecting. I guess I will go back to buying something like this in a brick and mortar store so I can measure the thickness where it matters.Suggestion to the seller, clarify this thickness measurement.
