Solid mat over carpet. Wheels from chair do not sink or make dents. Easy to roll chair.Would have given 5 stars except it shipped as is. I knew it was shipping flat which is one reason I bought it, but thought it would at least be in flat box or wrapped.The first one was returned because it was damaged. The second one is chipped & cracked on edge.Great mat but they need to rethink their packaging for delivery

First off, this was shipped to me without a box. I absolutely love that since it's less waste and one less box that I have to deal with. The seller must ship it without any packaging because they believe in the quality of their product. Makes sense to me because this mat seems like it will last. I've owned a couple of these mats over the years. Amazon used to sell these under their own brand and it wasn't bad, but it only lasted me about 2 1/2 years and eventually started cracking. I then replaced it with a mat that was far too soft (shipped rolled up) and it slipped all over the place on my carpet. This mat seems quite a bit stronger/firmer than the Amazon mat and stays put on the carpet. No slipping so far, so very happy with it. Hoping it lasts me longer than the Amazon version, but time will tell.

This chair mat is very durable and holds in place. It’s not a pliable mat so it comes as one piece not rolled which can speak to its quality and functionality. I’ve used others that you can find at local stores but this one blows them out of the water.

This is the perfect size for under my standing desk. It is not super thick, but is strong & keeps it shape well even when sitting on a chair on it for long periods of time. It stays put on carpet. Great value for money.

This was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a chair mat for my rolling chair at my sewing machine cabinet. And this mat is just the right size - 29" x 47" with a lip. The lip goes up into the cabinet floor area for my feet, and the mat is there to support the rolling chair as I move around to do my sewing. The legs of the cabinet rest on the outer edges of the mat to keep it secured., and my chair wheels roll freely on the mat. Before I had the mat, my chair wheels would sink down into the medium pile of my carpet and make it hard to move around while I was at my sewing machine. I have solved the problem I have struggled with for years! Thank you, Gorilla Grip!
