I was really impressed with the different functions of this stud finder and the great deal I was able to get for such a reliable product. It can distinguish between wood and metal, which is super helpful. Sensitivity seems accurate. Instructions were helpful but could have been printed in larger font size. Would definitely recommend it.

Recently purchased the Stud Finder from Amazon and I am happy with my purchase. This was easy to use and helped us to install a tv mount, without it it would have been imposible.The stud is easy to find and it has different scanning modes depending on what you are looking for which can be very useful. I also appreciate the extra features that come with this scanner, such as the ability to detect live electrical wiring. Overall, I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy tool for their DIY projects.

I love it very much and it's easy to use,I used it to locate boards so I could install picture frames and face basin.Even more interesting it has different modes including finding metal, studs,unshielded wires and woods.it also gives out a beeping noise whenever the scan locates an object.Good quality and value for money.

STUD FINDING: 1) Came with very well written instructions on how to get best results through optimal use of available features, 2) Features worked as described in the instructions, 3) Delivered more consistent results regarding stud locations than my other two units do. AC FINDING: From what I've ready, VERY few consumer grade (affordable) finders work well on AC location, and that seems to be true here too, A wall I was working on recently showed that most of the entire wall was live with AC when of course it isn't. Apparently we have to filter the sensitivity down to get this to work properly, and I don't yet have instructions on how to do that on this unit. But, as I didn't buy this for AC location, I'm not bothered. METAL STUDS: I haven't tested that yet.I"m VERY satisfied with this unit compared to other comparable ones I own. In this price range, I highly recommend for wood stud location.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband so can't give a super informative review. However, I did test it out to hang a picture and found the stud just fine. So yeah, it works.

Sometimes this gives a good reading and sometimes not and we can't figure out why and what makes it so finicky. I think we get better readings when we use the deeper setting. I guess it is better than anything we used prior, but I wish we felt more certain we were getting accurate readings.

very easy to use...used it to mount multiple security cams and it made the job very easy....finder is light weight and accurate...it rivals more expensive finders for us DIYers and the price is great...
